Description

KPV is a synthetic tripeptide fragment of alpha melanocyte stimulating hormone (α MSH), commonly referenced as Lys Pro Val (KPV). In experimental models, KPV has been studied for its ability to influence inflammatory signal transduction, including NF κB related pathway activity, within epithelial and immune cell contexts. KPV is used in research investigating melanocortin related peptide fragments, peptide transport and stability, and cytokine signaling dynamics in vitro.
